The present invention relates to a ligand screening system and method using a soft magnetic microstructure. Particularly, the system and method of the present invention are preferably useful for screening a ligand magnetic particle library consisting of multiple different compounds with respect to a target substance that is a biochemical system. According to the present invention, the ligand screening system using the soft magnetic microstructure comprises a reaction module making the ligand magnetic particle library consisting of multiple test compounds react with the target substance that is a biochemical system to form a reaction mixture comprising a non-bonded ligand magnetic particle and a target substance-ligand magnetic particle complex; a magnetic force generation module controlling an external magnetic field to magnetize the soft magnetic microstructure and the non-bonded ligand magnetic particle and target substance-ligand magnetic particle complex; a transfer module comprising a chained soft magnetic microstructure which generates an internal magnetic field when magnetized by the external magnetic field and controls the movement of the target substance-ligand magnetic particle complex according to the direction of magnetization, a loading site formed on one end of the chained soft magnetic microstructure, into which the reaction mixture is put, and a sensing site formed on the other end of the chained soft magnetic microstructure, to which the target substance-ligand magnetic particle complex is transferred; the non-bonded ligand magnetic particle and target substance-ligand magnetic particle complex of which the movement is controlled by the internal magnetic field generated as the soft magnetic microstructure is magnetized; and an analysis module analyzing a ligand separated from the target substance-ligand magnetic particle complex which has been transferred and an effect of the ligand on the biological activity of the target substance. |
