<p>The present invention relates to a valve for a hydraulically operated percussion mechanism having a main valve (2, 102) which is in the form of a rotary slide valve having a rotary slide. In order to reduce the installation space and the production costs of such valves, it is proposed according to the invention that the rotary slide is configured as a receiving housing which receives a valve element in the form of a secondary valve (68, 114).
