A method and apparatus are provided for detecting a structural stability of an object area. The method and apparatus include disposing a plurality of electrodes in the object area along a depth direction of the object area, surrounding the electrodes with a filling material; measuring a micro potential difference via the electrodes, generating a micro potential difference when the filling material is deformed by a force according to a change of the object area; and determining the structural stability of the object area based upon the measured micro potential difference. |

1. A method of detecting a structural stability of an object area, the method comprising the steps of:
forming a bore hole by boring into the object area along a depth direction; attaching a plurality of electrodes to a non-conductive bracket so that the plurality of electrodes are spaced apart from one another; disposing the bracket inside the bore hole; filling a space between the bore hole and the plurality of electrodes with the filling material, and the filling material comprising a piezoelectric material having a greater degree of saturation than the object area; measuring a micro potential difference via the plurality of electrodes, and the micro potential difference being generated when the filling material is deformed by a force according to a change of the object area; and determining the structural stability of the object area based upon the measured micro potential difference. |
