<p>The present invention relates to an air bag module for a vehicle. The air bag module comprises: a cover closed on the lower part and an open unit on the upper part; a mounting plate inserted into the open unit and accommodates an air bag thereinside; a plurality of protrusion units formed around the outer wall of the mounting plate; a hook unit formed on the cover and combined with the protrusion units; and a guide bar formed on the mounting plate formed to surround the outer side of the hook unit. The air bag module for a vehicle increases the strength of the air bag when the air bag is inflated when compared to a rivetless assembly structure used when the air bag of a steering wheel and the mounting plate are combined. Also, when the air bag cover and the mounting plate are assembled, an erroneous assembly can be prevented. Moreover, the air bag module is structured to facilitate strong coupling, such that problems relating to the surrounding components and a stepped pulley can be improved.</p> |
