A method for inserting a drainage wick (5) into the ground comprising the steps of: - threading said drainage wick (5) through an inserting tube (3); - fixing a portion of a tie (10) to the lower end (51) of said drainage wick (5); - fixing an anchorage component (11) to another portion (12) of said tie, where said tie (10) is loose between the drainage wick lower end (51) and the anchorage component (11); - driving said anchorage component (11), said drainage wick (5) and said inserting tube (3) downwardly into the ground; - pulling up said inserting tube (3) and said drainage wick (5), whereby said anchorage component (11) is permitted to remain into said ground; and - further pulling up said inserting tube (3) whereby said anchorage component (11) and said drainage wick (5) are permitted to remain into said ground, said wick (5) being separated from said anchorage component (11). |
