The present invention relates to a model tunnel assembly for apprehending a behavior of a neighboring ground during tunnel excavation. The present invention includes a soil tank that has an insertion hole penetrating front and back surfaces in particular on one side and has an inner space filled with soil; a model tunnel that is inserted into the insertion hole of the soil tank and has a plurality of through-holes in an outer circumferential surface; a water pressure pump that is connected via piping to a front or back end of the model tunnel so as to supply water to the inner space of the model tunnel; and an elastic membrane that surrounds an outer side surface of the model tunnel, expands due to water pressure when the water is supplied into the model tunnel by the water pressure pump, and shrinks when the supplied water is discharged. According to the present invention, ground and structure behaviors during tunnel excavation can be predicted based on the behavior of the soil sinking due to the shrinkage of the elastic membrane.
