The present invention includes: display panel; a display module having an active retarder panel adjusting and the direction of polarized light of received image and penetrating the polarized light after receiving image light outputted from the display panel, arranged at the front of the display panel; and an operation module for determining the pivoted state of the display module and adjusting the direction of polarized light by controlling a voltage applied to the active retarder panel if the display module is pivoted. The present invention is capable of solving a problem that three dimensional image or multi-image cannot be seen if the display device is pivot rotated. Also, the present invention is capable of dealing with a problem that the angle of glasses which are an optical device is converted into 90 degrees as a user converts his/her position so that the image displayed in the display device cannot be seen three dimensionally or in a multi-image.
