<p>The present invention relates to a digital broadcast signal generating apparatus which can output a screen including various kinds of metering data, a control button, etc., related to home automation through a DTV without requiring a device with a monitor separate from a DTV, by converting multimedia content generated by a server connected to the internet into a digital broadcast signal and providing the digital broadcast signal through an antenna terminal in a digital TV. The digital broadcast signal generating apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a broadcast signal generating module for generating a baseband digital broadcast signal by compressing a broadcast content file in a digital broadcast signal format; a communication module for receiving state information on each electronic device or delivering a power on/off command to a relevant electronic device by communicating with a zigbee communication module installed in each external electronic device; and a control module for collectively controlling each of the modules and keeping the state information on the electronic devices received through the communication module in the broadcast content file, wherein the communication module includes at least a zigbee communication module. The electronic devices are domestic meters, electronic appliances, or power outlets. A LAN module which is connected to the internet and performs IP communications with an external broadcast content generating server is included additionally, and the broadcast content file is embedded or received from the broadcast generating server. The zigbee communication module delivers a power on/off command for electronic devices from an external exclusive remote control.</p> |
