A sunscreen composition for blocking ultraviolet rays of the present invention absorbs ultraviolet rays (UVA), when exposed to UVA, and is converted to photoreceptors (Z-form) of visible light and of near infrared rays representing absorbing bands of visible light and of near infrared rays. In the present invention, the sunscreen composition for blocking UVA includes photochromic materials, wherein the photochromic materials is converted to photoreceptors (E-form) of ultraviolet rays representing absorbing bands of ultraviolet rays by absorbing visible light or near infrared rays when the photoreceptors of the converted visible light and near infrared rays are exposed to visible light or near infrared rays.
