A device (240) for controlling a video game is disclosed comprising a tablet computer (242) and an electronic game controller input device (250) in electronic communication with the tablet computer (242). The input device (250) provides a pair of control modules (252) adjacent to and confining the tablet computer (242) on at least two sides. The pair of control modules (252) each provide input module apertures to secure an instructional input device such as a removable keyboard or game control module (Fig. 13). A structural bridge (258) secures the pair of control modules (252) together via fastening mechanism (264, 266) to confine the tablet computer (242).
