<p>The invention relates to a mechanism for the base of an extensible couch by means of which a two- or three-seat couch or an armchair can be converted into a bed. According to the invention, the mechanism consists of four elements () assembled by means of some bolts (), where the first element () is secured to an extended section () of the couch () and the third element () is fixed to a support () of the extended section (), the couch () being converted into bed by means of a strap () made of a textile material or leather, by pulling it horizontally up to the maximum position, then vertically and horizontally again, until the extended section () gets to the horizontal position.</p> |
