<p>The invention relates to an auxiliary device for mounting the return spring and to a process for mounting the return spring in a hydraulic shifter by means of such a device, used in internal combustion engines. The claimed device for mounting a return spring () in the hydraulic shifter assembly consists of a ring from whose external circumference there are extended partially in the same plane with the ring and partially in a plane perpendicular to the ring plane four prominences (), symmetrically arranged on the external circumference of the ring, on the same external circumference of the ring there being symmetrically arranged four recesses () shifted by 45° in relation to the four prominences (), and from the internal circumference of the ring there are partially extended in the same plane with the ring and partially in a plane perpendicular to the ring plane other four symmetrically arranged prominences (), placed in front of the recesses (), the eight prominences () being placed on the same side of the ring, and the four prominences on the external circumference of the ring of the auxiliary device protrude through an associated hole cut in a cover () of the return spring and the four prominences () on the internal circumference of the ring of the auxiliary device protrude through and are in contact with the central hole of the cover (). The claimed process for mounting the return spring comprises the following steps: fastening the auxiliary device () in the cover () of the return spring (), orienting the return spring (), pretensioning the return spring (), in an assembling tool, axially moving the return spring () from the assembling tool into the auxiliary device (), fastening the return spring () in the hydraulic shifter assembly by means of a sub-assembly formed of the auxiliary device () and the cover () of the return spring () and extracting the device () from the cover ().</p> |
