The present invention relates to a display panel and a display apparatus including the same. The display panel according to the present invention includes a first substrate on which an electrode line and a switching element are arranged, a second substrate which is arranged to face the first substrate, a seal part which bonds the first substrate to the second substrate, a pad electrode which is locate don an overlap position with the seal part in a vertical direction and is electrically connected to the electrode line, and a side electrode which is connected to one end of the pad electrode and includes a part which is located on the side of the seal part.
