Extracting ammonia dissolved in a liquid effluent, preferably water, comprises subjecting the liquid effluent to stripping at a temperature of 50-120[deg] C, preferably 100[deg] C, where the vapors obtained from the stripping are condensed in an ammonia solution having a concentration greater than the liquid effluent. An independent claim is included for an installation comprising a thermal degasser, whose liquid inlet is connected to an inlet of liquid effluent containing dissolved ammonia, where the thermal degasser comprises a two-phase mixture of water and water vapor at a temperature of 50-120[deg] C, preferably 100[deg] C, and a pipe for removing vapors from the air is connected to the degasser and a condenser, and then cooled in air or water to provide a more concentrated ammonia condensate. |
