An apparatus for controlling network traffic in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention is an apparatus for controlling CANopen network traffic. The apparatus for controlling network traffic comprises: a data object service providing module that generates a data verification service frame; a message service providing module that generates a data transmission service frame; a frame delay module that controls the generation cycle of the data verification service frame generated at the data object service providing module; a traffic analysis module that compares reference data traffic with the data traffic of the data transmission service frame generated at the message service providing module, determines a generation cycle of the data verification service frame based on a result of the comparison, and then controls the operation of the frame delay module according to the determined generation cycle of the data verification service frame; and a transmission queue that transmits a service frame transmitted from the traffic analysis module to a CANopen network. |
