The purpose of the present invention is to control dimming of LEDs by changing a variable resistance value using a dimming control unit including variable resistors. To achieve this, a LED lighting apparatus for dimming control is provided, comprising a power unit which supplies input power; a rectifier circuit which receives the input power from the power unit and outputs rectified power; an LED unit which has a plurality of LED channels connected to each other in series, and a resistor unit connected to the final end of the LED channel; a dimming control unit which includes variable resistors to control a current flowing through the LED unit, controlling dimming of the LED channel; and a switch circuit unit which includes a plurality of switches, wherein an n^th switch is connected to a rear end of an n^th LED channel to control the operation of the n^th LED channel, and the n^th switch is controlled by the sum of a current of the n^th switch and a current of an (n+1)^th switch, which flow through the variable resistors.
