BIOMASS COMPOSITION FOR COATING OF FERTILIZER OR ANIMAL FEED PARTICLES, PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF, FERTILIZER AND FEED FOR ANIMALS

The invention relates to biomass composition, used as a coating for fertilizer or animal feed particles, comprising, relative to the total dry weight of the composition: a) 5-35 wt. % biomass plant derived solid particles with a Dof less than 250 [mu]m and a Dof less than 400 [mu]m; and b) 95-65 wt.% dispersant, wherein the dispersant comprises an oil, fat or wax or a combination thereof wherein the biomass composition comprises less than 30 wt.% of moisture measured at 25°C and 50% relative air humidity. A process for the production of the biomass composition comprises the steps of dispersing the biomass solid particles in the dispersant and grinding an initial biomass composition until the solid particles have the required values. Fertilizer or animal feed may contain particles with such coating.
