PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer capacitor that hardly causes cracks.SOLUTION: A first terminal electrode 13 is provided so as to straddle between a portion of a first end surface 10e side in a longitudinal direction of a second primary surface 10b and the first end surface 10e. A second terminal electrode 14 is provided so as to straddle between a portion of a second end surface 10f side in a longitudinal direction of a second primary surface 10b and the second end surface 10f. A third terminal electrode 15 is provided on the second primary surface 10b. A portion 13c of the first terminal electrode 13 located on the first end surface 10e and a portion 14c of the second terminal electrode 14 located on the second end surface 10f are each located closer to the first primary surface 10a side in the thickness direction than to a region in which a first effective portion 11A and a second effective portion 12A are faced to each other in the width direction.
