<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key management device capable of avoiding the misunderstanding that a key is returned upon insertion of a holder body into a change-time insertion opening.SOLUTION: A key management device is provided with: a change-time insertion opening 30 arranged below a key retaining panel 2; a change unit 31 incorporated in the key management device; and input means 4 for inputting information representing user's authority. The change unit 31 determines whether a user has authority of changing a key based upon the information from the input means 4, and pushes the holder body 10 out of the change-time insertion opening 30 before an unlocking operation and a locking operation, when determining that the user does not have the authority of changing the key.</p> |
