FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: laser comprises an active element, an optical filter, pumping lamps and a holder, arranged in series one after the other. The laser also comprises an internal gas cooling system for lamps with a pressure device and a valve, as well as an external cooling system which is in thermal contact with the internal system through a heat exchanger. Furthermore, the laser has a cover placed behind a reflector. The channel between the cover and the reflector is the heat exchanger. The channel of the internal cooling system is formed by walls of the reflector and the optical filter, with pumping lamps placed in between. The channel of the internal cooling system is divided into compartments for each of the pumping lamps by diaphragms which are arranged in chequered order along the filter and the reflector alternately. The distance between the free ends of the diaphragms and the wall of the channel of the internal cooling system is not greater than the distance from the wall of said channel to the pumping lamp.EFFECT: smaller dimensions with simultaneous reduction of power consumption of the cooling system.3 dwg |
