PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel skin-whitening agent that inhibits the production of melanin in melanocyte induced by endothelin and α-MSH, and further inhibits the melanin generated by melanocyte from being deposited on keratinocyte.SOLUTION: The present invention is characterized by (1) an agent that inhibits the production of melanin in melanocyte induced by endothelin and α-MSH, comprising Aristotelia Chilensis extracts as an active ingredient, (2) an agent that inhibits melanin from being deposited on keratinocyte, comprising Aristotelia Chilensis extracts as an active ingredient, and (3) a skin-whitening agent comprising Aristotelia Chilensis extracts as an active ingredient. |
