PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame body of which the structure can be simplified and which can be constructed at low cost and is capable of improving a structure performance, and a building.SOLUTION: The frame body comprises: a stud 11 which vertically extends over upper and lower beams G in the middle of a pair of columns C; a pair of upper diagonal members 12 extending obliquely downwards from upper ends of the columns C and extending to the stud 11; a pair of lower diagonal members 13 extending obliquely upwards from lower ends of the columns C and extending to the stud 11; upper first connection members 14 connecting upper ends of the upper diagonal members 12 with the columns C; damping connection members 15 connecting lower ends of the upper diagonal members 12 and the stud 11; lower first connection members 16 connecting lower ends of the lower diagonal members 13 and the columns C; and pin connection members 17 connecting upper ends of the lower diagonal members 13 and the stud 11. The damping connection members 15 and the pin connection members 17 are provided while being vertically separated just by a substantially equal distance with a center position of the stud 11 in a length direction interposed therebetween. |
