PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for conveying fly ash, which can inhibit fixation of the fly ash and which enable the fly ash to be properly conveyed to a rear stage.SOLUTION: An apparatus for conveying fly ash includes a screw conveyor 1 that conveys fly ash, and a heating wire 11 that adjusts a temperature of the fly ash, conveyed by the screw conveyor 1, to a temperature higher than a deliquescence equilibrium temperature of calcium chloride and lower than an introduction temperature when the fly ash is introduced into fly ash conveying means. Thus, deliquescence of a large amount of calcium chloride included in the fly ash is prevented; the deliquescent property of the fly ash is decreased to inhibit fixation of the fly ash; and the fly ash can be properly conveyed to a rear stage. |
