Provided are: a heavy-load tire in which fuel-saving properties, heat-aging resistance, and durability (abrasion resistance and rubber strength) are improved with a good balance thereof; and a method for manufacturing the heavy-load tire. The present invention relates to a heavy-load tire having at least one item selected from the group consisting of a cap tread, a base tread, and a sidewall, fabricated using a rubber composition including modified natural rubber highly purified and adjusted to a pH of 2-7, and carbon black and/or a white filler. |
