<p>A mobile station (20) comprises a reception RF unit (21), a multiplexed signal separation unit (23), a measurement unit (24) and a transmission RF unit (29). The reception RF unit (21) receives, from a base station, control information used for notifying the mobile station (20) of an instruction to measure a radio channel characteristic between the base station and the mobile station (20). The multiplexed signal separation unit (23) determines a channel area, for which the radio channel characteristic is to be measured, in accordance with a channel area in which the control information received by the reception RF unit (21) is included, in a radio downlink from the base station to the mobile station (20). The measurement unit (24) measures the radio channel characteristic for the channel area determined by the multiplexed signal separation unit (23). The transmission RF unit (29) transmits, to the base station, a measurement result obtained by the measurement unit (24).</p> |
