PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To divide one sheet of an image arranged across a plurality of pages forming a double-spread page into each page and perform bookbinding and printing, while avoiding variation in image correction processing results from occurring in the double-spread page after performing bookbinding and printing.SOLUTION: In an editing system, images are arranged on a double-spread page composed of a plurality of single pages. Among the images thus arranged, the image arranged over the plurality of single pages is divided into each single page to create divided images, and the divided images are inserted single page by single page to create original data. Further, in a printing control system, the divided images are extracted from the original data, a combined image is created by combining the divided images, and then correction processing is performed for the combined image. Thereafter, the corrected combined image is divided to create the divided images which are then inserted in the original data. The original data is updated and printing processing is performed for the updated original data. |
