PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alternative material that avoids problems seen in a hybrid silica material, such as a filling problem associated with a heterogeneous form, inhibition of solute mass transfer due to an irregular shape and a high density of micropores, and resultant insufficient peak shape and band width, and further offers a mechanical strength, an increased column efficiency, and chromatography selectivity.SOLUTION: A composite material includes nanoparticles dispersed in an inorganic or hybrid material derived from one or more kinds of components selected from a group of: an organic repeating unit; an organic silyl repeating unit; and an inorganic repeating unit, and embeds nanoparticles selected from the following oxides or nitrides: silicon carbide, aluminum, diamond, cerium, carbon black, carbon nanotube, zirconium, barium, cerium, cobalt, copper, europium, gadolinium, iron, nickel, samarium, silicon, silver, titanium, zinc, boron, and a mixture thereof. |
