PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effervescent tablet for preparing a mouth rinsing solution which is useful in upper gastrointestinal tract membrane at inflammation, and which has a bioavailability equivalent to an orally administered drug, wherein the effervescent tablet exhibits a high release rate of budesonide (16,17-(butylidenebis(oxy))-11,21-dihydroxy-, (11-&bgr;, 16-α)-pregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione) which can be safely used over a long time.SOLUTION: An effervescent tablet contains an effervescent mixture containing a compound which contains 0.1 to 10 mg per dose of budesonide, 0.5 to 10 wt.% of polyvinylpyrrolidone based on a weight of an effervescent tablet, and 0.1 to 5.0 weight per mill of docusate sodium, and pharmaceutically acceptable solid acid and carbonate and/or hydrogen carbonate. |
