<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing wall with a damper that uses a normal steel material for the damper, obtains stable energy absorbing and large deformation capabilities without processing any slip etc., and hardly has deviation in intersection of a column core and a brace core, and the damper.SOLUTION: There is provided a bearing wall which is provided with a brace 24 between adjacent columns 21, 21 while a lower end of the brace 24 is joined to a lower part of one column 21 through a damper 1. The damper 1 comprises: a pair of upper and lower parallel plate parts 2, 2; a plate-like web part 3 for energy absorption provided therebetween; and vertical materials 4, 5 for column joining and brace joining. The vertical material 5 for column joining is formed of a square pipe and has an upward projection part 5a projecting to above the upper parallel plate part 2. The lower end of the brace 24 is joined to the upward projection part 5a through a joining hardware 9.</p> |
