In a method of monitoring complications relating to a plurality of medical devices, which are each implanted in one of a plurality of patients, information for each of the implanted medical devices is entered in a computing device by displaying a plurality of candidate complications for the medical device on a display of the computing device, receiving a selection of one or more of the candidate complications using an input device of the computing device, and storing the one or more selected candidate complications a memory of the computing device or a remote data store. One or more reports identifying the selected complications for the medical devices are generated using the computing device, and the one or more reports are displayed on the display.

entering complication information for each of the implanted medical devices in a computing device comprising:
displaying a plurality of candidate complications for the medical device on a display of the computing device;receiving a selection of one or more of the candidate complications using an input device of the computing device; andstoring the one or more selected candidate complications in at least one of memory of the computing device and a remote data store; and generating one or more reports identifying the selected complications for the medical devices using the computing device; and displaying the one or more reports on the display.
