Provided are an array substrate, a preparation method, and a display apparatus. The present invention relates to the technical field of display, is used for manufacturing the display apparatus, and can reduce a parasitic capacitance between a gate and a drain, thereby reducing the power consumption of the array substrate, and further, improving the display quality of an image. The array substrate comprises: a gate metal layer (11a, 11b), a semiconductor active layer (13), a source and drain metal layer (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d, 15e) and a pixel electrode (17) all of which are patterned and disposed on the substrate base plate (10), and further comprises an organic transparent insulation layer (16) disposed between the gate metal layer (11a, 11b) and the pixel electrode (17).
