PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uninterruptible power device capable of securing an amount of power required for a load at power failure while timewise leveling power supplied from a grid power source.SOLUTION: When an amount of power stored in a power storage section in a peak-cut period in which power demand for a grid power source is maximum is no less than a setting value, a controller controls a converter so as to limit power supply from the grid power source and controls a step-up/down chopper circuit so as to supply power stored in the power storage section to the load. Meanwhile, when a value of the amount of power stored in the power storage section in the peak-cut period is below the setting value, the controller controls the converter so as to release the limitation of power supply from the grid power source and controls the step-up/down chopper circuit so as to stop power supply from the power storage section to the load. The setting value is determined so that power supply from the power storage section to the load can be continued for a predetermined period when AC power supply from the grid power source is stopped.
