This double-sided coating device (1) is provided with: a first coating device (5a) that coats a surface not contacted by a guide roller (4b); and a second coating device (5b) that coats a surface contacted by the guide roller (4b). The first coating device (5a) and second coating device (5b) each comprise a gravure kiss coating device having a small-diameter gravure roller (10) and a coating material supply device (30). By means of a substrate (S) being led to the horizontal direction from the vertical direction by the guide roller (4b), the substrate (S) when traveling in the vertical direction is coated from the side by the first coating device (5a), and the substrate (S) when traveling in the horizontal direction is coated from below by the second coating device (5b).
