Pressure sensor, comprising a detection unit (36) to detect a pressure in a domestic appliance (11). The pressure sensor is of the capacitive type, and the detection unit (36) comprises a printed circuit (27) provided on its surface with a conductive plate (28), a conductive membrane (31) positioned parallel and distanced from the conductive plate (28) and having a deformable zone (33) in correspondence with said conductive plate (28). The conductive membrane (31) and the conductive plate (28) define the plates of a variable capacity capacitor.
