Provided in embodiments of the present invention are a method, device, and system for data transmission. The method comprises: a base station receives a data packet transmitted by a user equipment (UE); and, the base station transmits the data packet to a radio network controller (RNC), where the data packet comprises a second fast transmission instruction, where the second fast transmission instruction is used for instructing the data packet to employ a fast transmission process flow for data transmission. The method, device, and system for data transmission provided in embodiments of the present invention allow for reduced data packet transmission process flow and increase data transmission efficiency.
