This lens barrel has a movable barrel unit part (4) and a master flange unit (6) in which a lens unit is disposed, the movable barrel unit part (4) is housed in the master flange unit (6) in a collapsed state, and the movable barrel unit part (4) is extended out of the master flange unit (6) into an extended state. The master flange unit (6) has a movement frame (53) supported so as to be able to move in the optical axis direction via a first elastic member capable of expanding and contracting in the optical axis direction, and a lens frame supported so as to be able to move relative to the movement frame (53) in the optical axis direction via a second elastic member capable of expanding and contracting in the optical axis direction. When in the collapsed state, the movable barrel unit part (4) presses the lens frame against a repulsive force of the first elastic member and the second elastic member so that the movement frame (53) and the lens frame approach a master flange (61).
