Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for call re-establishment. In one aspect there is provided a method. The method may include determining a radio link failure between a user equipment and a base station; and sending, by the user equipment after the determined radio link failure, a request to re-establish a connection, wherein the request includes layer information identifying the base station in a network.
