摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a turbidity sensor including: a housing with a light emitting window and a light receiving window, through which light passes, formed side by side at a lower surface thereof and spaced apart from each other; a light emitting unit accommodated in the housing to emit light to sample water disposed on the exterior of the housing through the light emitting window; a light receiving unit accommodated in the housing to detect light incident through the light receiving window; and a control unit to calculate turbidity information of the sample water by processing a signal outputted from the light receiving unit, wherein the light emitting unit includes a light source to emit light toward the light emitting window, and a first prism to refract the light emitted from the light source to the exterior of the housing in an acute angle with respect to a surface in parallel with the light emitting surface, and the light receiving unit includes a light detecting unit facing the light receiving window to receive the incident light, and a second prism to refract the light incident from the exterior of the housing at the acute angle with respect to the surface in parallel with the light receiving window, toward a light receiving surface of the light detecting unit. According to the turbidity sensor, the light can be refracted and emitted in a direction, which is appropriate for measuring the turbidity, through the prism provided at an inner part of the housing, and the light, which is slantingly incident from the exterior, can be refracted toward the light receiving surface of the light detecting unit, so the external part of the housing can be manufactured in a flat structure.</p>
