The present invention relates to a filter housing for a fuel pump module and a filter having the same. The filter housing includes a first case having a filter medium positioning space into which a filter medium for filtering alien substances is inserted, and having a medium upper fusion portion of a ring shape brought into contact with and fused to an upper end of the inserted filter medium; and a second case provided with a protrusion having a case-inside fusion portion of a ring shape which is inserted in a space formed at a center of the filter medium having the ring-shaped cross section, and then is brought into contact with and fused to a lower end of the filter medium. The second case has a medium-lower fusion portion of a ring shape which is brought into and fused to a lower end of the filter medium to interrupt the filter medium positioning space. The first or second case is provided with a fluid inlet hole and a fluid outlet hole through which the fluid flows to the filter medium. Even if the housing is manufactured by an injection molding method, the uniformity of the shape and the size is secured, thereby lowering a fraction defective and improving an injection molding speed.
