PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel matrix, a touch display device, and a method for driving the device which are capable of improving display quality and sensitivity of touch sensing.SOLUTION: There is provided a pixel matrix having a first substrate 110, a plurality of pixel structures, a first electrode set 130 and a common electrode 140. The pixel structure is arranged as an array configuration on the first substrate. Each pixel structure has pixel electrodes 122. The first electrode set has a plurality of first electrodes 132 arrayed on the first substrate in a first direction. Each of the first electrodes having a plurality of first openings is arrayed correspondingly to the pixel electrodes 122, and arrayed so as to surround the corresponding pixel electrodes. The common electrode is arranged between the first electrodes and the first substrate and between the pixel electrodes and the first substrate. |
