PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship, an exhaust gas treatment system attachment method, and an exhaust gas treatment system detachment system capable of suppressing additional construction cost by making it possible to easily attach or detach an exhaust gas treatment system.SOLUTION: A ship including a chimney 6 from which exhaust gas can be discharged and an exhaust gas treatment system capable of purifying the exhaust gas passing through the chimney 6, and having an exposure surface P1 formed thereon, comprises: a scrubber device 21 connected to the chimney 6 and purifying the exhaust gas passing through the chimney 6; and a container 22 containing therein an auxiliary facility of the scrubber device 21 to package the auxiliary facility for connecting the scrubber device 21 to the auxiliary facility, and installed on the exposure surface P1.
