The present invention relates to a method for producing a shaped component by means of a device, wherein a workpiece, which has a cavity and which consists at least partially of a steel material, is inserted into a tool of the device, and wherein a fluid is introduced under pressure into the cavity of the workpiece located in the tool by means of a docking stamp of the device, and the workpiece is hot-formed in the device. The problem of providing a method that allows for economic production of components, even of complex geometrical design, and simultaneously allows for satisfactory hardening of the components, is solved by counteracting the cooling of the workpiece in the region of the docking stamp. The invention further relates to a device, in particular for performing the method. |
