<p>PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a material which prevents damage to an electrode structure due to overcharging, absorbs sunlight with the maximum efficiency, and is easily installed is provided. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a material comprises a silicon layer forming step which forms a molded product by depositing and fusing a silicon layer (3) on the outer circumference of a cylindrical core material (2); and a step of removing the core material from the molded product. The core material consists of a conductive material. The conductive material is formed of a carbon fiber or a metal fiber. The core removing step removes the core material by oxidizing the carbon fiber in an oxygen atmosphere.
