PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the increase of power consumption without deteriorating convenience.SOLUTION: An information apparatus includes: a first display unit disposed in a first housing; a first illuminance sensor disposed close to the first display unit correspondingly to the first display unit and measuring circumferential illuminance; a second display unit disposed in a second housing that is openably connected to the first housing; a second illuminance sensor disposed close to the second display unit correspondingly to the second display unit and measuring circumferential illuminance; and a control unit for allowing the display unit corresponding to the illuminance sensor with smaller measurement illuminance to stop displaying when a difference between the first illuminance measured by the first illuminance sensor and the second illuminance measured by the second illuminance sensor becomes equal to or more than a predetermined threshold during the displaying of the first display unit and the second display unit.
