The color filter array substrate comprises multiple gate lines (10) and multiple data lines (20) distributed in a transversely and longitudinally intersected manner, and comprises multiple pixel regions (30, 31, 32) defined by the gate lines (10) and the data lines (20). Each pixel region (30, 31, 32) comprises a thin film transistor (1). Each pixel region (30, 31, 32) also comprises a band-pass filter layer (200). The band-pass filter layer (200) allows penetrance of light with a specific wavelength range, and reflects light with another wavelength. The band-pass filter layer (200) comprises a first medium sublayer (201), a second medium sublayer (202), and a third medium sublayer (203). The second medium sublayer (202) has different thickness in different pixel regions (30, 31, 32).
