A beverage container (100, 300) holding a beverage includes a cap (102) that can be used to prevent contamination of a beverage between drinks. The cap (102) is sized to fit over the foot (100C, 300C) of the beverage container (100, 300) for use as a non-slip coaster. The beverage container (100, 300) is shrink wrapped to retain the cap (102) on the top of the beverage container (100, 300). The shrink wrap (104) includes a pair of vertically disposed perforations (106) which facilitate opening of the beverage container (100, 300). The shrink wrap (104) also aids in keeping the beverage container (100, 300) sanitary by preventing contaminants from reaching surfaces of the beverage container. |
