PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic injection system.SOLUTION: A disposable syringe assembly used in an automatic injection device or manually, includes a syringe housing (22) that receives a syringe barrel and that is restrained against longitudinal direction movement with respect to the syringe barrel, and a shield portion (30) mounted to move generally telescopically relative to the syringe housing between a retracted position and an extended position, and the shield portion (30) shields a syringe needle in use at the extended position, and further includes block arrangement bodies (38, 43) actuated as the shield portion moves toward the extended position to prevent retraction from the extended position. The automatic injection device includes a drive mechanism for moving the shield portion to the extended position to be blocked, and on completion of injection operation, the disposable syringe assembly may be removed from the automatic injection device in a shielded condition for subsequent disposal. |
