PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load sorting line having high load processing capability, which is configured to decrease congestion and accumulation of loads at a sorting portion so as to reduce line stopping as much as possible.SOLUTION: In a load sorting line constituted of a first sorting line 1 and a second sorting line 2, each of which has a load placing portion 3, a reading-out portion 4 for load sorting information and a sorting portion 5 connected to each shoot 7 per sorting destination, loads are passed in this order and the loads can be conveyed based on sorting information read out by the reading-out portion 4 to a chute 7 of a sorting destination at the sorting portion 5. Loads, for which the sorting information could not be read out by the reading-out portion 4 after the reading-out portion 4 and before a first chute connection portion of the sorting portion 5 in both sorting lines, are selected and conveyed to a branch line 10, and then selected and conveyed from a midway 14 of the sorting portion in the first sorting line or a midway 15 of the sorting portion in the second sorting line. |
