A double-row roller bearing is configured so that an outer ring (1) and an inner ring (2) are capable of smoothly rotating relative to each other while an increase in frictional force caused by a variation in the contact-pressure force between the inner and outer rings (1, 2) and rollers (3) is minimized, and so that the double-row roller bearing is adapted to be reduced in size and is highly versatile. A double-row roller bearing comprises an inner ring (2), an outer ring (1), and rollers (3) arranged between the inner and outer rings (1, 2). A circumferentially continuous pair of side protrusions (12) is formed on the outer peripheral surface (21) of the inner ring (2) at a distance from each other in the rotation axis direction. A circumferentially continuous intermediate protrusion (22) is formed on the inner peripheral surface (11) of the outer ring (1) at a position between the side protrusions (12). A pair of roller rolling paths (30) is defined between the outer ring (1) and the inner ring (2) by the pair of side protrusions (12) and the intermediate protrusion (22). Rollers (3a) which have rotation axes perpendicular to the rotation axes of the outer ring (1) and the inner ring (2) and rollers (3b) which have rotation axes parallel to the rotation axes of the outer ring (1) and the inner ring (2) are arranged in a mixed state in each of the roller rolling paths (30). |
