A sunroof apparatus having: a left-and-right pair of guide rails (5); a lateral frame (6) that makes a connection between one end parts of the both guide rails; sliders (7) that retain a roof panel (2) so as to be longitudinally movable; driving cables (8) that are connected to the sliders; and a driving device (9) for the driving cables, wherein: the lateral frame is provided with two cable insertion parts (40) each in which ship bottom-shaped receiving parts (47) and arch-shaped canopy parts (48) are alternately arrayed; the two cable insertion parts are formed with a two-level crossing part (42); and the lateral frame is attached with a cable cover (37) that covers an upper opening of the two-level crossing part. |
